Your dog can’t tell you what hurts.
Or when the next rabies shot is due.
CURAA is a smart collar that notices changes in how your dog moves and sounds, and an app that keeps their health records and reminds you on the day.
You’ll get the app first, and be first in line for the collar.
Bruno is a sample pet. The card is illustrative.
Built to notice what dogs hide.
Dogs are wired to hide discomfort, so the first signs are small: a cough at night, more scratching, a slower walk. The CURAA collar is being built to catch those changes, and your phone turns them into notes you can act on.

talks to your phone over home wi-fi. the phone does the thinking, then deletes the recordings.
Catch changes early.
Small shifts in sound and movement often come before anything you’d notice yourself.
Take facts to your vet.
Instead of “I think he’s coughing more”, show when it started and how often.
Private by design.
Raw recordings are processed on your phone and never uploaded.
The app comes first. It remembers everything.
Records, reminders and answers for your dog, in one calm place. It’s what you’ll use first, and where the collar’s notes will land later.
Every record, kept.
Add a vaccination or prescription once, with a photo of the card. CURAA suggests when the next dose is due and reminds you on the day.

Answers that know your dog.
Ask about a symptom, food or a vaccine at any hour. CURAA answers with your dog’s own records in mind, and tells you plainly when it’s time to see a vet.

SampleBruno keeps scratching his left ear and shaking his head. Is that normal?
Beagles’ long ears hold warmth and moisture, so ear trouble is common. Bruno’s records show no ear problems before.
Look gently inside his left ear. Redness, swelling, dark wax or a sour smell can point to an infection.
If you see any of these, or he’s still scratching tomorrow, see a vet within a day or two.

One link with everything.
Share Bruno’s passport with a sitter, a boarding host or a new vet. They see his photo and basics, plus his vaccinations only if you choose. If he ever slips his leash, lost mode lets anyone who scans his tag call you.

The app starts your dog’s record. The collar fills it in.
Vaccines, vet visits, weight and your own notes build one timeline for your dog’s whole life. When the collar arrives, what it notices joins the same timeline, so you and your vet see the full picture.

Things people ask us.
When can I get CURAA?
The app comes first, and people on the waitlist get it before anyone else. The collar follows, and the waitlist hears about it first.
What will the collar notice?
It listens for barking, whining, crying, coughing and heavy breathing, and feels walking, running, sleeping, jumping, scratching, shaking and falls. Over time, CURAA learns what’s usual for your dog, so changes stand out.
Is the CURAA collar a GPS tracker?
No. It’s a health and behaviour collar. It notices coughing, scratching, barking and changes in your dog’s sleep and activity, so you can catch problems early. It doesn’t track location.
Does the app remind me about vaccines?
Yes. Add your pet’s vaccination card and CURAA suggests when the next dose is due, then reminds you on the day. Prescriptions, vet visits and weight live in the same health record.
Does the collar record everything?
It records sound and movement so your phone can recognise things like barking or coughing. The recordings are processed on your phone and deleted afterwards. Only short behaviour notes are saved to your account.
How does the collar connect to my phone?
Over your home Wi-Fi. Your phone does the processing.
Is CURAA a replacement for my vet?
No. CURAA helps you keep track and notice changes, and Ask CURAA gives general guidance based on your dog’s records. For diagnosis and treatment, see your vet. CURAA will tell you when it’s time.
Does it work for cats?
The app works for dogs and cats. The collar is being built for dogs first.
Who makes CURAA?
CURAA is a pet-health startup from Kolkata, India, founded by Sourodyuti Biswas Sanyal, Krishnendu Dhar and Aritra Biswas. Our only website is curaapets.com.
